I'm an international teacher currently working in Lima, Peru. I've previously worked at schools in Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and South Korea. I teach Computer Science, core ICT and have just launched IB Digital Society at my school this year. My husband also works as a Computer Science teacher (and yes we talk tech all the time!) I hope that you find my resources useful and please give me feedback on how you get on with them, as well as any improvements or new content that you'd like to see.

A two-sided printable help guide for using Adobe Illustrator explaining what the tools are. I've also included links to my YouTube videos on getting started and a few troubleshooting tips. I've also uploaded some skills sheets and accompanying help videos, as well as a bundle of starters that be used for Illustrator so take a look at those as well if you find these useful.

Bundle of Adobe Illustrator starters

A bundle of starter activities for using Adobe Illustrator in a Powerpoint and Word file - missing words, name the tool, memory round, mix and match, fill in the blanks, Odd One Out, Taboo, What's on the Board and a set of printable Bingo cards. You can display these on the board, or print them out if you wish. How to play Taboo - choose two pupils, one who will describe the word on the board and one who will try and guess. The pupil who is guessing must face away from the board. The pupil describing MUST NOT say any of the Taboo words. They can't say 'It sounds like...' or what letter the word begins with. They have 60 seconds to get their partner to work out what it is. You can then swap them out and pick two different pupils, or choose a winner to stay on. How to play What's on the Board - choose two pupils, one who will describe the word on the board and one who will try and guess. The pupil who is guessing must face away from the board. The pupil describing should try to describe as many words as possible (you can set a timer if you wish). I have also uploaded a set of skills sheets with accompanying videos and a printable help guide if you have found these useful.
